"My journey into yoga began as a child, watching my grandmother practice yoga postures. This inspired me to want to be physically fit and enhanced my ability to focus in school and perform better in a variety of sports such as roller skating, running, tennis and racquetball. Yoga and meditation helps me maintain balance during stressful times such a when life is super busy with juggling the demands of career, community and family.
My journey as a student and teacher of the art and science of yoga and Ayurveda includes my personal yoga practice over 20 years. And studies with world class teachers in the practice of classic Hatha, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Bakti, Karma and Bikram yoga methods, layered into my 30+ year meditation practice.
As a teacher I am honored to be of service to others who seek to find the deeper meaning of a life well lived. At the end of the day it is about being open to the possibility of becoming a better you and using the practices of yoga and meditation to enhance your transformation.
Today I most enjoy helping others get started on their yoga path. It is my wish to be of service to help others find a place for yoga in their everyday lives and use yoga to learn more about the deeper meaning of living life to the fullest."
